In 2024 Stepping Out is going to publish an illustrated series about the intimate life of unpaid carers entitled “Carers' Lives in 100 Objects.”
The aim is to uncover the many extraordinary tales of love, commitment, exhaustion, endurance, comedy and tragedy that caring inevitable involves but is rarely acknowledged by wider society. Every carer has been asked to nominate an object in their life - something utterly ordinary or extremely special - that carries a greater significance to them because of their caring role.
